It has a default station of 87.5 but you can change that if you prefer a different station.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Marisa, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. Yes, the transmitter and your car radio have to be on the exact same radio station. Make sure you are using your transmitter with a radio station that is not already broadcasting any audio (therefore, use a station with a lot of static), otherwise it won't be very effective. In order to change stations and find which one works best in your area, hold down on the red cell phone symbol on the transmitter until the red LED numbers start flashing. Then, change the station with the arrows on the side of the transmitter until you find one that works best for your area. In my experience, turning the volume up all the way on your phone provides the clearest quality audio. Lastly, make sure you have your car radio on the same station as displayed on your transmitter (the red LED numbers).
