This is a quote I got from the company itself: “ Thanks for reaching out! We put that warning on there to follow legislation put in place by the state of California. Most types of consumer products made from plastic (like our products) can be harmful if they are consumed. There is no risk of cancer under normal operating conditions. As long as you don't eat our phone mount, you will be 100% safe”
