I scrolled my radio until I got dead air, in my case 96.1. It works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn’t matter what station you have it on. Make sure that you show the same channel number on both the radio and on the device. I have mine set to something like 100.5 and it works fine.

I recommend tuning your FM radio to a station that has a lot of static already (therefore, one that is not already broadcasting audio). Then, once you tune your Roadtripper to the same station, it should cut out the static completely since it is not competing with any other broadcasts.
