Yes it does have an On/Off switch. Read the Pdf instructions.

Hi there, thanks for your question. The Roadtripper SOUND does not have an on / off switch, and will stay powered on as long as it is plugged into your vehicle. In my experience it doesn't drain the car battery enough to cause the battery to die, but it may depend on your vehicle. Removing the Roadtripper from your cigarette lighter each time you get out of the vehicle shouldn't be an issue to my knowledge.
