The Vulcan II Max can be connected to a Mac computer and will be recognized like any other keyboard. Advanced functions and customization are only available on Windows systems with Swarm II installed, though. That being said, some configuration is stored on the keyboard's internal memory, so the keyboard can be set up on a Windows system and then it can be used on a Mac system if a little bit of configuration is desired.
