• This cable is definitely overkill and I wouldn't say it would give you a better picture than the rocketfish 4k. The demos at best buy aren't fake or tampered with in any way, most settings/picture quality settings are stock.

• Yes it will greatly improve the picture, I don't think that having two different brands of bluray player and TV will make difference. But it supports hdmi 2.1 on newer tv'swhich will make it better , but it will improve the picture on older 4k this as well.
