“I am trying to send from 1 source to both an outdoor tv and A DLP projector. i purchased another powered splitter and it would work but wouldnt transmit audio through both. is there any way to make sure this will work before purchasing?”

As long as you have the better hdmi cords then I dont see an issue. I have mine hooked up to my satellite dish, then split to a TV in my bedroom and a tv in my sitting room. Hooked it up in 2 minutes with no issues whatsoever
