Yes that will work. I am splitting the signal between 2 different monitors myself and both monitors work together and/or independently. Product works great!

yes, it will work, but there are some issues that you need to be aware of. Such as when first powering up for two displays you need to power up the lower resolution display first (most of the time it's the projector.). and when you shut off the projector the TV might not have the highest resolution in use.
