• This splitter can split the signal from a Roku device to 2 HDMI inputs.

• My opinion would be yes provided the dvr has an hdmi input. Whatever is keyed up on the Roku would be recorded on the dvr. You will not be able to record a different channel than what is being watched on the Roku.
