No, this device doesn't support ARC. Try the Model: NS-HZ340 to extract audio signals.

(Bluetooth wireless pairing) I purchased this hdmi splitter for this same purpose and my TV did not have enough hdmi ports to support my soundbar + my DVD player. Once I paired the soundbar using my TV remote and TV menu display options the soundbar worked even with or without my DVD player! Of course, make sure the other end of your hdmi splitter is inserted into your tv!
