I would recommend no longer than 50 feet, but try to stay with less, as longer length means slower transfer, along with possible signal interference.

You will run with issues with hdmi 2.1 technically anything over 10-12 feet. I’d recommend a fiber HDMI cable from Amazon(try out ibirds or highwings brands) if you are running it longer than 3 meters long. That way you will still have the quality of 25gig-48gigs speeds. It is better in my opinion than copper wired HDMI cables when you’re talking about long lengths.

my 12 foot 48gbps works great now, i can now select 4:4:4 color on the new apple tv 4k box and works fine. My old hdmi cable would pass apple cable test
