“I'm getting an LG G1 4K OLED which has all HDMI 2.1 ports, however my blu ray player and cable box are only HDMI 2.0. Will this cable still provide the best quality picture for those two input, or would I be better off with the high speed HDMI 2.0 cable?”

• Yes but you won't notice a difference if you don't have an hdmi 2.1 device my lg has 2 hdmi 2.0 ports and 2 hdmi 2.1 ports I use for my pc and series x to get the full bandwidth for the 120hrtz

• You'd be better off with a rocketfish 4k cable. Your cable box bottlenecks (limits) the connection and you wouldn't be able to use the full bandwidth of an 8k cable.
