• the power plug is flat and angled to 45 degrees so that it does not block above or below outlet, and lays flat against the wall.

• Not sure I completely understand your question. It can be rotated to accommodate front flush mount or 90' degrees. Great plug for where you have something that needs to be flush up against the wall.
