“We recently had a power surge. I had this model. The LEDs were no longer on and power was no longer being delivered through it. It had a smell and some white smoke coming from it. Would that mean it did its job and protected my PC ?”

• Check your PC, and if it is still functioning correctly I would say the surge protector did indeed do its job!

• Yes the Surge protector did it's job and took the damage and now may need to be replaced ($20? vs your PC) as a Result.
