How does the cable attach to the tv and sound bar null

There is a "jack" for this to plug into. It has a "push-in" cover over it. I just pushed the cable into the TV & then to my BOSE sound box.

Should have a digital audio port on the sound bar and TV. It kinda looks like this [ } if you can visualize it.

Yes you can connect cable between TV and Sound Bar, If you have an optical port to connect.

If your TV has a Digital Optical Audio Output and your Soundbar has a Digital Optical input, this cable should work for you.
