Try resetting the cable connection and also make sure your audio is up on your iphone.

But then I noticed a blue shape at the bottom right side of the ap, tapped it, and it gave me a couple of choices. The headphone choice played immediately.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I could be wrong, but on my car along with AM/FM/CD I also have an AUX mode. Once I plug my phone in I have to change the mode to AUX to listen to the music. See if you have the same.
