• I don't know if they're 1 or 3 GHz rated. But, I can tell you that I've connected both my cable modem and cable TV box through these adapters with absolutely NO loss of signal or Internet bandwidth. The TV reception is just as good as previously and the Internet bandwidth hasn't changed. I still get between 450-490 mbps.

• Not sure about the rating, but I'm using it for MoCA and it's just fine, I can't imagine they woudn't work for DirecTV.
