Are these connectors weatherproof? null

You will want to use one that is the same finish as the cables you intend to use. I've never seen gold plated, weather sealed cables, so I wouldn't use these for a weather sealed application. The weather sealed cable connectors will come with a rubber o-ring that screws into the end of the connectors to create the weather seal. Any barrel should work with those as long as they're made of the same type of metal to avoid corrosion.
