Believe it or not’ it’s your cable you should replace.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Sharp HD TV has a port. My RCA antenna has a male connector. I used 2 long coax cables, connected them together and connected them to my antenna which I placed in a southern exposure window in another room. I now get a srtonger signal but it does nothing for airplane signal scatter if you live near an airport.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work fine for HD used on mine with no problems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes that is the reason I got them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless the connector was exposed to moisture (typical from being outside) then it should be fine. It is possible that the HD TV connection now requires an HDMI cable instead of coaxial to allow an HD signal. Your satellite company should be willing to come out and verify the problem. Dish network does that at no charge. Your satellite company may not be transmitting HD to your subscription. You typically need a different box and pay a higher price for HD service. I have satellite with Dish network HD and no problems.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe your signal loss is due to the connector. I am using mine on a cable system between my TiVo and my 4K TV and am having no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These work fine for my HD (cable). There are many things that could prevent an HD signal coming through coax. Here is what I would check: 1. The coax cable needs to be newer and preferrably quad-shielded, older, less well insulated cable can receive interference which could impact signal quality. 2. As few splitters as possible. 3. Confirm your satellite tuner is actually providing an HD signal, and that you are tuned to an HD station. If you have confirmed all of that, and you are still unable to receive HD signal on your new TV I would contact your satellite provider's support team.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Coax does not provide HD service. You need a digital cable like HDMI to get HD sevice.
