Will this mount wrk with a 55" curved tv? null

I've mounted two tvs with Rocket fish mounts. They are very versatile very accommodating to most TV. I would recommend that you mount on the middle of a flat wall. The size and curvature might present some challenges if you were to mount in a corner.
