• No. Studs will need to be 16" apart for this to properly work. Unless you want to create a mounting plate first and affix this mount to that and then the plate to your studs.

• We hung this on a 65" tv into sheet rock using sheet rock anchors. We did not use any studs.

• The distance between studs doesn't matter, you only need to drill into one stud - two bolts.
