“This does not work on a 64 bit windows machine The firmware does not download onto a 64 bit windows machine. Found this out after I purchased and tried to install. Rocket Fish confirmed this will not work with a 64 bit windows 8 machine only a 32 bit windows 8 machine.”

Not true, it works on mine. Your OS should automatically load the correct driver. The support there is terrible.
