“problems pairing bem wireless speaker I have 2 different HP laptops I have tried this on. Both laptops are 64 bit one runs Windows 7 the other Windows 8.1. On both systems I have gone out to the http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php site to download and install the latest driver. Neither laptop will pair with the bem wireless speaker (http://bemwireless.com ... Model #HL2022B) even with the speaker inches away for the plugged in Bluetooth adapter. Any ideas on how to get this working?”

The software needs to install properly before it will pair. If it continues to not pair, you can call us at 1-800-620-2790. Be aware that if you can see the Bluetooth options on your computer and it just won't pair, then more than likely the adapter is not the issue and you would need to contact the computer manufacturer or BEM for support.
