“I was told by a sales agent that this is the right wall mount for the Sonos 1 speakers, however there are no screw holes in the speaker so how does this work?”

Has a pressure fit with set screw thay prevents falling, and combined with gravity it is going no where

They slip in two of the many notches in the back and then there is one screw that is located near the center of the sonos speakers either on the back or the bottom depending on which model.
