“Purchased this antenna July 15 2022. Worked great. About 60 channels were being received with great reception. Now only getting about 1/2 that amount and the reception is in/out. Could it be the amplifier?”

It could be or lost line of sight somehow. You can get replacement signal boosters on the internet. I got one and tried it inside and got zero channels as opposed to the one that came with it that got 4 channels. Your mileage may vary.
