You can - I did. You will need to visit the hardware store to do so as the tubes are different sizes, but it's not hard. Just be sure that it is up high enough.

Although with a couple of Home Depot trips and some creativity I'm sure it can be mounted. I mounted mine to the facia and it works great, 80+ channels
