“Does it have to be mount to a stud or drywall with anchors installation would do as well?”

• I've had it go either way because of the pre-condition of the walls my mounts were applied to. The Geek people I've had on my three installations all carefully made determinations according to several factors (ex. mount non-tilt or tilt, wall conditions, TV weight and installation accessibility).

• Can be mounted to drywall if the drywall is sturdy. If your drywall is the thin stuff find a stud.
