“Will these work for Sonos Play 3 speaker? Spec says that it will work with speakers up to 8lbs, but only references the Play 1. However, the Play 3 is rated at only 5 lbs. Does anyone know if it will work with this speaker?”

If weight is your only concern yes it will work because my speakers weigh alot more than 5lbs and they hold up just fine

Best Buy does offer a 15 day return/exchange period that would allow you to test mount the speakers and return the kit if you are not satisfied with the fit.
