Yes easy to connect. Then do channel scan. Problem I had was that not all the channels came in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what a CPMcast cable is. This just attaches on a coaxial input, just a single cable. Mine has very poor reception, however, so I wouldn't recommend this product. I'd get an amplified one.
