• The big oval hoop, that looks like the sliding part of a Trombone on it's left and right, is long enough for VHF wavelength. Some antennas "splice" one hoop into the feeder coax cord with some palm-wide metal parts for UHF milliMeter wave length most stations are licensed to use.
