Yes it should, unless your device has logic that checks for a USB-to-PC connection. Also, your device will only draw as much current as it requires. Don't worry that your device is rated for USB 5V 1.2A (for example). Connection to a USB 5V 2.4A charger will not damage it (if everything is working properly, i.e. undamaged).

Please try again later.It will charge your devices safely as it seems to stop pushing through the power when it's done which prevents the overheating effect some chargers seem to be famous for. I would caution you to watch for fraying at the connection base as we had two bought at the same time fray w/wires showing in under 2 months of use. This I'm sure could pose a danger in general but it also slows the charge and the heating effects start to occur as mentioned above. I would suggest trying a different brand, I seen that Griffin has begun to sell the 10' cords now so that's what we will try next.
