Sure you can BUT you will need a power inverter. The transmitter and receiver both need to be connected to 110 AC voltage. This setup is meant for home use. Why would you have to cut into your vehicles harness? Go to your local stereo shop and buy the harness that fits your car, they are cheap. If you have an aftermarket stereo then it should have RCA outputs so you can run them to your amp or amps. No need to tap into your vehicles harness.
