Unfortunately, the Micro SD card slot is right next to one of the fans. An SD card inserted in the slot will get so hot that it will quickly fail (this was a bad design that Asus corrected in the Ally X). If you check online forums, you'll see that it's not recommended to use an SD card with this device.
