I would get a signal extender
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have U-Verse and my Roku is on the second floor and running with no problems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends how far your internet router is, walls and other obstacles. You might need to buy a wifi extender
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to reset my router by turning it off and back on to get mine to work. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It needs to be facing towards your wifi router and have your remote pointed right at the box. This is how I get mine to work and it's over 25 ft away and in a bedroom and my wifi picks it up as long as it is pointed at the wifi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem and bought a range extender. Now my Roku works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well I don't have the stick I have the Roku1 box & mine is more then 25 ft from my Verizon router.. I had the Chromecast stick before I had the Roku1 box & same TV , same spot, same distance & it worked fine I returned that for other issues & got the Roku1.. Make sure the stick is plugged into the HDMI port correctly that could be your problem & your TV must be HD.. I decided on the Roku1 box as opposed to the streaming stick due to reviews of the stick on the Roku website.. Hope this helps you & good luck .. I love my Roku #CutTheCord
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a netgear router. On charter. And I have no problems. I would call the cable company.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like you have a weak WiFi signal. Verizon offers a more powerful router (for a charge) that's supposed to double the WIFI strength therefore allowing you to be able to set it up further away. my rokus are about 15-30 feet away fwiw.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Roku is definitely farther than 25 feet from the router. The location I have it in gets awful wifi. Most of the time the Roku works, but sometimes you have to play with it and move it around to connect to the wifi again. I would say being closer to the router is better, but it can work at a farther distance depending how well that room receives internet connection. I have the Roku box, not the stick. I think if I had the stick I wouldn't be able to get it to work. If you can return the stick and get the box I would suggest that so you can move it around? I hope you are able to get it to work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
