• No, I have a Roku TV, and it connects via Bluetooth to TV. You don’t have to do anything TV and Speaker just join. And then TV knows that the speaker is main audio out. All very seamless. I have a Sonos tv speaker on my main TV and I think this Roku is better. Clear spoken word and cleaner sound. I love the speaker. I bought a speaker mount so it connects to top of tv. Loving it!
