You would connect the Roku to your monitor via HDMI then depending on your monitor, it will play the sound from the monitor if it has speakers built in or you would have to connect speakers to the audio out port on the monitor.

You wouldn't be able to use your computer and your roku simultaneously with this setup though. Most modern monitors have a way to switch inputs just like a TV.
