3mbps is actually very slow to stream. But if you can stream, I would use an ethernet cable and not wireless.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have a wireless router and also want to hook up something with a wire both can work simultaneously. In some cases depending on what wireless router you have speeds are faster using Wireless if you are using a router that supports 5 gigahertz wireless band. When looking for wires I personally use what they call CAT5 or better which is more than enough for streaming video.
