“Using Ethernet Cable 3mbps is the best my ISP can provide in my rather rural Arkansas area. If I choose to stream wired, using an Ethernet cable, will my other wireless devices not work during that streaming/watching process? Also, will any Ethernet cable do, or will I need some sort of "special" cable meant for streaming?”

3mbps is actually very slow to stream. But if you can stream, I would use an ethernet cable and not wireless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any standard Cat5e or better cable will be fine. Your other devices will still work but with so little bandwidth, you may experience excessive buffering from the demand on the connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have a wireless router and also want to hook up something with a wire both can work simultaneously. In some cases depending on what wireless router you have speeds are faster using Wireless if you are using a router that supports 5 gigahertz wireless band. When looking for wires I personally use what they call CAT5 or better which is more than enough for streaming video.
