In answer to your question if this will work in an RV in an area that has free Wifi,yes it will. Depending on the useage of the wifi and how many mbs the site has(if the wifi has enough width to cover how many people maybe using it),it may take a while to stream movies. It will work,but not knowing how many people are tapped into that wifi makes it difficult to say how well it will work. I will say,either way it is a smart purchase.If it doesn't work it will make a great gift to someone. Hope this was helpful,Grimmreaper

It will depend on the strength of signal and speed of the internet. The speed of the internet will determine the resolution in which your picture is produced and whether or not the picture will freeze while it buffers to get caught up. If it is a decent internet connection I see no reason why it would not work.
