Our church recently purchased one of these with the intent of running it through a laptop and then sending out the feed to 3 TV/Monitors. The following is Cannon's response, earlier today, to that same question: Thank you for contacting Canon product support. We value you as a Canon customer and appreciate the opportunity to assist you. We are sorry that you cannot do a live feed with the VIXIA HF R200. I know how frustrating this is but you cannot do a live feed with our camcorders. Unfortunately, there is not fix that we can do. You can view the sermons while they are taping plus link videos together if that will help you. I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. I hope I have answered all of your questions. Please let us know if we can assist you further. I am going to email them and ask about the part I underlined. I tried and could not "view" anything except on the view screen. I will update with their response.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure if you can, but there is a usb port that you could connect in to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really. There is a component output connector on the HF200. So you can connect a component video cable (red/green/blue with red and white for audio) from the camera to the HD TV's component video input. That's as good as you can do without investing in any additional converters and wireless HDMI transmitters/receivers. ..m
