• I don't think FIOS HD Service is required to use the Roku 3. I have cable internet service (20 Mbps, I think) and the Roku 3 streams content just fine. All you need is an HDMI cable, an open HDMI input connection on your television, and a way to connect to your network (either wired or wireless). Hope this answers your question.

• Yes, as long as you have an HDMI cable to go from the device to your TV, it'll work perfectly. Of course you would need to have internet access in your home. Not having the TV HD service won't matter, since the Roku will be delivering the picture.

• You only need an internet connection to use your Roku 3 and an HDMI cable to connect it to your new flat screen. Older TVs may not have an HDMI port but new TVs have 2, 3 or 4.
