• There are thousands of apps to choose from. You can go online to check but it does not replace your TV remote.

• You can add any app that is available on the ROKU app page. I have several PBS channels on mine. A ROKU device is like a DVD Player or a Blue-Ray Player, you have a seperate remote to run the Player. It is a Streaming Device and it plugs into an Input on your TV. Depending on which ROKU Device you buy, you can use a Cell Phone App to control your ROKU Device. I can use the Phone App on my TCL ROKU TV and my ROKU Express.
