They should work. Check the web sites for the channels you are interested in to be certain the ROKU supports it. I have an older ROKU and wanted DIrectv Now to add as a channel. It Was not supported on my older ROKU device so I purchase the newer ROKU Express. Works fine for Netflex, Directv Now etc.
