This is dependent on what app you are using.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The remote handles the different apps and shows just like a TV or Cable remote handles channels. You do not need to touch the box after installation. The remote and your chair are all you need. That is as long as you have another remote which allows you to change the input select needed. Most newer TVs have several ways and connections for different video sources. On the TV remote is a button used to navigate between them. The Roku remote I do not think is capable of changing inputs just as it would be unable to change the technical nature of your picture itself: bright, contrast, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The remote control does allow you to change services and also shows on each service. Although unless you are getting the streaming DirecTV service they are not technically known as channels. You do NOT need to leave your chair for anything during normal use and probably ever. I think that offers you the answer you need. The speed it goes from one to another is based upon your internet speed. Lower speed internet is a bit slower to change.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't really change "channels", you are using a web based content provider (Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime) to provide a show or movie, it's more like selecting a video to watch from a content menu, no show/movie is started until you start watching it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not that I have found. It takes several minutes to connect at all.
