Yes, I purchased one 4K and three Express Roku streaming devices just to replace additional box rental fees from Comcast. The app works just like your channel guide on the rental boxes, other than you don't have numbers to enter in directly. You need to know the channel you are heading to or it takes a while. I just keep adding the most common channels I use to favorites to keep it simplified. It is about a 30 second delay from the cable box, so not too bad. When watching on your home network you are able to view the entire program library you would get from a cable box. On-Demand. DVR. Premium channels. So, it takes time to get used to but pays for itself very quickly.
