“Will the soundbar work in instances where you are using an input other that where the Roku is plugged in ?”

• Bob, it can if you connect the Roku Streambar to your TV with the optical cable. If you use the HDMI cable it will only work with the Roku streaming content.

• To clarify everything, if you have HDMI ARC or a digital audio port on the TV, either one can be used to share the soundbar's speakers with your other devices.

• FWIW, On the "What's in the box?" graphic it states: Optical Cable (optional) Only use if your TV does not have an HDMI-ARC port.

• I don’t know the answer....can Best Buy confirm that the optical cable hook up,is the only way to get multiple devices (e.g., blu-ray, Roku, tv ) to work with new Roku sound /stream device?
