“Does this work if you haven't a HDMI-ARC nor an optical port? I don't care if I get sound from the projector and only want what is streaming, so I don't think the streaming speaker needs to pish to the TV at all except for the image. Will it work?”

Hello Ren, If the content you're trying to watch is off the Streambar itself then simply using the HDMI will work, HDMI ARC is for other devices and content of live tv to pass through the soundbar.
