• Yes! You will DEFINITELY need internet access, preferably Internet with a decent speed to prevent buffering if you want to watch something that's over 45 minutes long such as a movie or an 1hr long episode.

• ROKU needs an Internet connection to work. And it should be relatively fast connection. Your dial-up modem will not work. Your slow DSL will not work in all likelihood not work. Your T3 will work. Your OC-48 will work. Sorry. Your cable modem will probably work
