IS IT FREE AND WHAT KIND OF CABLE CHANNELS WILL I GET null

There are some channels that are free but I subscribe to Netflix and Sling TV. Dumped Direct TV high cost. With digital antenna for local channels monthly cost about $40 instead of $160. You do need fast internet service!

Go to web and look up Sling TV channel offerings.

12/3/17 I just checked and found: Movies and TV 878 items. Music 330 items. Food 153 items. Most are free. Well worth purchasing the stick.

Is what free? You have to purchase the Roku stick or any device you plan to stream with. From there, you can get practically any channel you want. But, no, they aren't all free.

Sorry it is not free, it does offer some networks for access to their series/shows, but require subscriptions to them for access. For example you purchase netflix, pay monthly (about 9.99 per viewing/accessing television) and you can view every production Netflix has to offer. The same goes for HBO, Hulu, etc.

You can download a lot of the actual apps for free, but you must subscribe to most of them to watch any content.

You won't unless you have a active cable account and there is a cable app present in the roku apps

Cable channels are available only if you have a active account with the cable provider and the provider has a app that is available through the roku.

Dont get this get the fire tv stick. And find someone to put kodi on it and you will get every thing free
