“If I plug in a headset/ ear buds with a volume control … can one person use the earbuds and adjust the volume while another person in the room can listen “normally” to the TV ? (One person has normal hearing while the other needs “louder volume”)”

• It's been my experience that you can only use one or the other but not both.

• Hi, Bigmac! Unfortunately the private listening is to privately listen to the headphones while the other person sleeps or doesn't want to hear the sound.
