“Can people still listen to the TV speakers, while I am listening with earbuds plugged into the remote? I want to make sure that when I use audio on the remote other people can still listen to the TV.”

• No - when you plug in the headphones the audio will only work through the headphones.

• No, the sound is muted on the tv. However, my remote lasted one month and no longer works properly. It's not worth it.
